Yanire Braña

Yanire is the CEO and Founder of MET Community, a non-profit organization that supports and promotes women entrepreneurship through training, mentoring and networking activities. She has more than fifteen years of experience in strategic definition, launching and implementation of new initiatives and projects for the Work Bank Group, IDB, Banco Popular, Accenture and Booz Allen.

Yanire worked for the World Bank Group and the Inter-American Development Bank as an Organizational Communications Leader and before that, she worked as a Corporate Development Manager at Banco Popular Group in Madrid, Spain.

She also worked as a professor for various prestigious academic institutions such as IE Business School. She combines this activity with research projects, reports and articles since 1998. She is always in search for new opportunities to develop innovative and technological processes that can support professionals in today’s dynamic business environment.

Research and Publishing

 Yanire has continuously shared her expertise and knowledge through articles, reports and research projects since 1998. She has an extensive experience in change readiness assessments, benchmarking reports, and change communications strategies.

Training and Development

Yanire teaches innovation, communications and technologies courses for various prestigious academic institutions such as IE Business School in Madrid, Getulio Vargas in Brazil, Sergio Arboleda in Colombia or the University of Chile.

Mentoring and Coaching

Yanire developed a four steps Mentoring Process that promotes and support successful entrepreneurship. The Program works with the differing needs of participants and with an International Community of institutions, trainers, mentors and collaborators.

-Implemented communications plan; defined and developed new marketing and multimedia materials to reinforce the corporate identity; and managed online communications channels
